LAYLEY The Photography of
JOHN DONEGAN

Review/Article from January 2006 GALLERY

Layley. Name of the book, name of the model.

Donegan first spotted her on a commercial advertising assignment, a print ad for an equestrian magazine.

She was shy. He was transfixed. And he had an idea: to photograph her nude, spectacularly nude, "to create an erotic series featuring only one girl," recalls Donegan.

"The idea was frightening for Layley, who had never modeled nude," he says. But she took to it, and with a vengeance. "Each new photo session was an erotic discovery for Layley," he says, the fact of which is more than evident in his book - and this exclusive GALLERY excerpt.
